Where we install

Our crew works out of Addison, Illinois. We cover all of Chicago and the suburbs: Addison, Palatine, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Elmhurst, Oak Brook, Naperville, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Oak Park, Evanston, Skokie and Des Plaines. Farther out, we travel up to 300 miles, including Rockford, Aurora, Joliet, Milwaukee, Madison, Peoria, South Bend, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids and St. Louis.

• 31–75 miles: $95
• 76–300 miles: $1.75 per mile each way, quoted up front

How an install job runs

• Measure. Send photos and rough sizes for a price, or we measure on site.
• Pick the film. We bring samples, or you order a $12 sample pack first.
• Cut and print. Every piece is cut to your panes, and perf and logo film print in our shop.
• Install. Clean, wet-apply, squeegee and trim with a 1/16″ edge gap. A typical home takes a few hours.

Installed prices

Installed jobs have a $275 minimum. Removing old film, ladders over 12 feet and after-hours storefront work are quoted separately.

Window film and Chicago weather

West-facing condos and storefronts get hit with summer heat and low winter sun straight through the glass, and reflective solar film helps with both. Condo buildings often regulate how windows look from outside, so check with your association before reflective film goes up. Film reduces heat coming in but doesn't insulate against winter cold. In winter we install when the glass is above freezing so the application water can dry.
